Two New Children's Programs

Three ongoing children's programs are offered at the Alicia Salinas City of Alice Public Library: Story Book Friends, Families Reading Together, and the Texas Reading Club.

Story Book Friends is designed to bring children ages 3-5 and parents or caregivers together to enjoy an hour of reading, singing, and crafts. The program is designed to bring children and parents together to experience the joy of reading and other activities.  This program is presented every Wednesday morning from September through May.

Families Reading Together is designed to bring children of all ages and parents or caregivers together to enjoy an hour of reading, singing, crafts, and games. The program is designed to bring children and parents together to experience the joy of reading and other activities.  This program is presented every Thursday 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Come and join library staff, parents, teachers, volunteers in joyful experience.  



Programs
The Texas Reading Club is offered in June and July for ages 3-12. Children and parents or caregivers are encourages reading through the summer. The program is designed to help instill a love of reading and libraries to children. Themes, dates, and times of the program change each summer.
